Akerzain Kennels

A majestic, strong and elegant dog with a beautiful thick coat and the ability to perform a number of functions.

Although Pyrenean Mountain Dogs were often central characters in the fantastic stories my Basque grandfather used to tell us as children, it wasn't until a few years ago that I was able to get our first girl from the Euzkadi Kennels. Of course, others followed.

Our dogs are strong, healthy, graceful and full of fun. They are the most fantastic companions who distribute their time between being in and around our house as our loving and playful best friends, successful show dogs and the most amazing, gentle, effective and dedicated guardians of a herd of stud Anglo Nubian goats.

Observing the Pyreneans protect and care for the goats with the dedication, love and commitment that they do, deserves only our deepest respect and admiration for this breed.
